Yoga, which means union in Sanskrit, was created as a science for liberation in which individual consciousness merges with the divine. Ultimately, yoga is the union of body, mind and spirit - attained through the yoga practice of specific postures (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama), and meditation (dhyana). In this beading, one of the most challenging asanas, Eka Pada Raja Kapotasana, is captured in its strength and elegance.
