At Omshala, we believe in supporting the environment by working to create a more sustainable and vibrant planet Earth. And what better way to do this than the simple act of planting trees. Trees provide the basic needs for all life. They clean our air, protect and purify our drinking water, create biodiversity, and safeguard against climate change. And, trees are food for the soul; they add magnificence and joy to our daily existence.
As a partner with OneTreePlanted.org, Omshala is committed to reforestation and restoring natural habitats. As part of its launch, Omshala has planted 1,000 trees along rivers and streams in the Pacific Northwest (Protect the Orca) and in the Amazon rainforest in Peru and the Sunderbans mangrove forest in India. Omshala will continue to plant trees as our business grows. For each item sold, Omshala will donate a portion of proceeds towards reforestation, supporting our mission to rebuild a healthy planet Earth.
