Omshala Story
The idea for Omshala came to me during a quiet moment as I contemplated the question, “What next?” I reflected on the yogic teachings that have guided me through the years, and connected with my life's passions: my love of family, my reverence for nature, my zest for learning about different cultures, my commitment to yogic lifestyle and Vedic principles and my fervor for making art.
Omshala is the manifestation of these inspirations: devotion, exploration, creativity, integrity, and grace. At Omshala, we instill these virtues in everything we do with the intention to encourage conscious living. We believe that by raising awareness, we can help to bring purpose and positivity into the lives of many.

Our distinctive luxury handbags are works of art, hand beaded with sacred images and mantras from India, and infused with the meaning of their conception. What better canvas than a handbag to bring these divine images to life in a unique way for countless to experience the healing energy and value of an ancient tradition rooted in spirituality and the celebration of life.
Our eco and vegan materials are curated from around the globe. We celebrate nature, and are always looking for ways to make our handbags more sustainable (and always leather-free) as we desire to support a vibrant and peaceful planet Earth.

In dedication to my mother Marsha Roth
The Omshala journey has been a lesson of persistence and possibility. The process took several years from conception to launch with many obstacles along the way. Throughout the entire experience, my mother was my greatest cheerleader. I will never forget my mother’s smile when I showed her the first completed prototype Henna tote. At the time my mother was quite ill, yet her face lit up, and I saw great pride in her eyes as she admired the intricate beadwork. All along, it was my mother who had inspired me to persevere as I witnessed daily her own courage, fortitude and grace during her illness. Sadly, my mother passed away just months before Omshala’s launch. In her honor, I have chosen to dedicate Omshala in its entirety to her, a tribute to the infinite love and passion that went into its creation.
